I have an e-learning and e-business consultancy and take a keen interest in issues that affect rural communities including the tyranny of distance in relation to accessing good health care and education and am also a Councillor on the Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council.

Profile: I have been a member of Charlton WAB for 40+ years.  I have lived on the farm I grew up on all my life and am now semi-retired on the farm – luckily we live just 13kms out of Port Lincoln.  I love travelling with my husband with our caravan anywhere in Australia or without the caravan, elsewhere.
Our 9 grandchildren keep us entertained, while Orienteering has been a favourite pastime for many years.

Profile: I have been a member of the Kalangadoo WAB since 2009 and really enjoy the fellowship and being as activist in our rural environment.  I have been a Pharmacist and Forensic Scientist, but left Adelaide in 1984 to marry a Kalangadoo Farmer.  We raised 4 children. My husband, Forrest, died suddenly from a heart attack in 2009. I now help out on our Family potato and beef cattle farm.  I am an advocate for climate change and living sustainably.  I am also an energy healer (Chiron Healing).

Profile: I am currently the President of Coonalpyn Branch, having been a WAB member for 16 years.  I have attended a few State conferences and am looking forward to meeting more members in my travels as a newly appointed coordinator in the Southern area which I am now sharing with Sandra Young.  I live in Coonalpyn with my husband Donald and work as an SSO in our local primary school. We have three adult children with partners, in Mannum, Adelaide and Pt Augusta.  I love my Monday night Sew'n'Sews group and am an avid quilter/stitcher when I can spare the time.  I also love reading, and we have a local book club which can sometimes be a 'challenging' read!  Gets us all out of our comfort zone.

Profile: I became a WAB member in October 1963 as a young farmer’s wife and became the mother of 3 sons. WAB has been a big part of my life where I have learned home-making skills and public speaking. The WAB theme: ‘Developing our potential in the Community’ prompted me to suggest Freeling WAB members put together Freeling’s history which I co-authored. Freeling’s History Book was launched in September 1981.
I have held the office of Secretary and President at Freeling, Mundulla and Strathalbyn WAB branches and have made many friends.
Besides my involvement in a number of other Community organisations, I enjoy Biodynamic gardening and was appointed the South Australian Coordinator/Trainer of the Biodynamic Gardeners Association Inc. in July 2003, and since then it has been a privilege teaching people to take care of their environment and their family’s health.
